Playing in the Snow!
Beautiful painting!
ReplyDeleteWe used to go to a neighbor's pond with our cousins and play in the snow and ice skate. We would make a chain and my uncle would pull us across the ice with his snow mobile. We had a bonfire built on the shore where we would warm up and drink hot chocolate. I sure miss those times!
Oh! This reminds me of when Dennis and I would go ice skating at George Rogers Clark Park. Funny, Dennis's father's name was "Roger Clark." Anyway, we also took our toboggan there. And they had big drums with fires in them. Those were the days!!! And it was sooooo cold!!
DeleteI could make a painting of your story, Gayle!! I can see that in my mind's eye! The chain, the bonfire, the hot chocolate!!
DeleteVery pretty and winter-y looking. Love how you overlaid it with snowman and snow flakes.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Nancy! picmonkey is fun!!
DeleteI love the trees and the sky. It's a very pretty painting!
ReplyDeleteNice painting. Love the one above it. Good for cards.
